TamagoDaruma is a practical media platform operated by ONE ROOF ALLIANCE, providing families with useful information and resources on childcare, early education, and family support.
The project encompasses media strategy, information architecture, UI/UX design, Web development, SEO/AIO, content planning, analytics, and ongoing operations.
Project Overview
Raising a family involves a wide and often complex range of decisions—from childcare services, public support programs, work and family life, and education to play, learning, and everyday concerns. Because the right choice depends on each family’s circumstances, information must be accurate, clearly organized, and connected to practical next steps.
TamagoDaruma brings together guidance on parenting, play and learning, childcare and support services, public programs, careers in childcare, and original content for families. The platform is designed not simply to provide articles, but to help readers compare options, seek support, and access relevant services.
Scope of Work
Media Strategy and Information Architecture
We mapped the different needs and search behaviors of families, childcare and support professionals, businesses, and institutions. Based on those journeys, we designed a media structure that connects categories, articles, downloadable resources, services, and inquiry pathways.
UI/UX Design and Web Development
We improved content discovery and created a reading experience that remains clear and comfortable on smartphones. The resulting Web foundation supports editorial articles, free resources, picture book animations for early Japanese speech, service information, and both Japanese- and English-language content within a connected media ecosystem.
SEO/AIO and Editorial Operations
Search data and reader needs inform topic selection, article planning, editing, publication, and ongoing improvement. Content is developed with an emphasis on primary sources, public institutions, and official information, then structured so that both search engines and conversational AI systems can understand its context, purpose, and supporting evidence.
English content is not treated as a direct translation of the Japanese site. It is adapted for international families living in or visiting Japan, as well as overseas readers seeking reliable information about Japanese childcare, education, and family life.
Original Content Development
In addition to editorial articles, we plan and produce practical resources that families and childcare settings can use directly. These include free downloadable materials and original picture book animations that introduce babies and young children to Japanese sounds through stories, songs, music, and moving image.
From Media to a Family Support Platform
TamagoDaruma continues to develop beyond an information website. Its service pathways now connect families with practical guidance, support businesses and institutions working in childcare and education, provide advertising and communication opportunities, and expand original parent-and-child content across articles, picture books, music, and animation.
Through continuous analysis and improvement, the project is building a trustworthy digital foundation that helps readers move from uncertainty to understanding—and from understanding to an appropriate next step.
