CoinOtaku Share Transfer
CoinOtaku Co., Ltd., for which ARATAMA 璞 has provided UI/UX design and web direction since 2018, announced an agreement to transfer all of its issued shares in stages to Xinhua Holdings (HK) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Beat Holdings Limited.
Following completion of the transaction, CoinOtaku was expected to become a wholly owned subsidiary of Xinhua Holdings (HK) Limited and join the Beat Holdings Group. Beat Holdings Limited was listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange at the time of the announcement.
CoinOtaku was founded in October 2017 with the aim of creating a trusted source of information about crypto assets. As of the July 2020 announcement, its media platform, CoinPartner, had grown to approximately 1.5 million monthly page views and 3,600 members in its online community.
The transaction was intended to support the international expansion of CoinPartner and create new opportunities through collaboration with the Beat Holdings Group’s crypto wallet business.
